The Survey of emissions from stacks is a legal requirement under National Environment and coordination Act, 1999, for company to comply with the NEMA Air Quality Regulations Legal Notice No. 34 of 2014 and to assess the potential impact to the existing working environment.
The stack emission measurements are done to determine the concentration of Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Oxides of Nitrogen, (NOx), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) Hydrocarbons (CxHy) and particulate matter in the flue gases generated and emitted from the facility.
